Work/life balance seems like the Holy Grail everyone’s always searching for, so the opportunity to meet other working women in Winnetka or nearby towns is so valuable. I meet other Winnetka women through my children’s school, our church, etc., but often they don’t work. And I meet working moms through other organizations but they often don’t live in my community and share “local” issues with me. So SheWorks is unique in that I can meet women with so many shared experiences.

For a woman that works in the city, it is so great to meet other working women in the burbs and talk about other life issues.

I think it’s so great to listen to high-ranking business women, entrepreneurs and professionals discuss how they got to their position and how they manage their lives everyday. It’s not only inspirational, it’s comforting. It confirms it can be done!
